Sue Eby – Upper School Principal

Ms. Eby graduated from Auburn University with a degree in mathematics and psychology. She taught mathematics and psychology in Alabama and North Carolina. This is where she learned of international education and began her international teaching career. The first stop was Caracas, Venezuela where she continued to teach mathematics and psychology. Then it was on to Bogota, Colombia where she became assistant principal while continuing to teach and met her husband, Mr. Darrell Hardman. Cairo, Egypt was the next stop at the American International School and to New Cairo British International School all the time in administrative positions while continuing to teach. Tirana, Albania is where she comes from currently to lead the Middle School at Metropolitan School.

Ms. Eby has extensive experience teaching mathematics, psychology and also coordinating

International Baccalaureate programs around the world. She also has extensive experience in leadership positions. Ms. Eby’s hobbies include cooking, camping, golf and NCAA basketball.
