Science week

There was a great deal going on with our little scientists during Science Week. The students had so much fun exploring insects and their eggs under the microscope. They learned about different densities by trying to mix oil and water. They also learned about sound vibrations using tuning forks. The students also had instruction this week on how to wash their hands properly. Students made their own glycerin soap that will no doubt encourage them wash their hands.Speaking of hands, messy hands are always a sign of a good project. The students made their own volcanoes using dough that they will erupt next lesson using baking soda and vinegar.
