Grade 2 visiting The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

Re-enforcing our student’s Egyptian values, second grade classes visited the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization last week where they had the opportunity to become familiar with Egyptian civilization through observing some photographic images, oil paintings, manuscripts and monuments. This visit was in preparation for the student’s play during Egypt Week.

Clay Project

Grade 2 & Grade 3 had fun exploring and making pots using clay, first they learned the basics of making forms and shapes and they colored it using paints, At the end they planted seeds inside to care of their own art piece.

KG1 End-of-Unit Celebration

Today KG1 classes had our end-of-unit celebration for our Simple Machines unit. All classes hosted a dish party with dishes that were made at home using simple machines that are found in our kitchens. The students enjoyed putting their machine knowledge to use as they made some very tasty treats
